The teen, described by loved ones as vibrant, kind, and full of promise, fell ill suddenly after contracting Meningitis caused by meningococcal group B bacteria .  Despite receiving urgent medical care, their condition deteriorated rapidly—a hallmark of the disease, which can progress within hours.
